CDW to JSM Assets
OnLink supports importing data from CDW into JSM assets. CDW pushes data out to a target URL and supports basic authentication mechanism.
Here’s a quick video showing how this integration is configured:
To configure this integration, go to your OnLink application, click on Webhooks, and create a new Webhook by clicking on Add.
Provide a name and select “Import to Assets” checkbox. This will show a few fields like workspace ID, which you can get by clicking on the link in the help text here. Then you'll be able to select your Asset Schema and Object Type.
To set up mapping, you can use drop-downs where you select map followed by “Input Attribute” which is the field coming from CDW, and “value” which is a list of all attributes in your schema.
Finally configure basic authentication, which is what CDW will use when pushing data to OnLink.
Use the Webhook url along with the username and password in CDW, to allow it to push data to OnLink.
