The Ping Identity connector lets you connect to an Ping Identity instance and perform these three functions: Create User, Deactivate User, Provision Groups for User.

Configuring the connection

Following instructions here PingOne Authentication. Here are the high level steps:

  1. Create a new application - select type “Worker”

  2. Click on Roles and assign appropriate roles to the application e.g. Identity Admin

  1. Click on Configuration tab and set the Request Type to Token, then select Grant Types Implicit and Client Credentials. Click Save.

  1. Your configuration should look like below and you can then copy Client ID, Client Secret and Environment ID.

  1. Click on OnLink (from Apps - Manage your apps menu), and create a new connection with the above information.
